Props
Props
The props that i have picked for my magazine will be a bass guitar and electric guitar and a magazine and each of my actors will use one prop each. I have used these props because it will then show the audience automatically for what genre the magazine is. The props i am doing will create the mood as for what i am doing.
Costumes
Costumes
The costumes i have picked for my magazine will be all black clothes with very dark eye makeup. Using this costume will make my magazine stand out by what genre of music i am doing. A leather jacket will be what each of my actors will be wearing. Leather jackets will show the audience that it is a Rock 'n' Roll magazine. Black ripped jeans which my actors will also be wearing as it shows punk.
Location
Location
The location i have decided to pick for my magazine will be Backstage in the hall in the Oldershaw Academy. I have picked this location because i think it will suit my genre for my magazine. it will be dark and dusty behind the stage which will set the scene for my magazine.

Actors
I will have three actors in my magazine, Ellie Dean , Abbi Harper, Rachel Allen. I have picked my three actors because i am doing a girl rock band and think that three is a good idea for a band. I have picked my three friends for the actors of my magazine because i can rely on them to not let me down and know exactly how i want my pictures.Thursday, 26 November 2015

What interests me- Task 3
The genre Pop music interests me the most out of them all. I prefer to listen to pop music rather than Rock n Roll and Rap. Choosing Pop would be better for me as their are plenty of themes and props you could use for your magazine to interest more audience into the magazine. I also know most about pop music and i would have more of an idea what to do,

Trainspotting
Trainspotting
The first scene starts off with a non diegetic sound which is a voice over which instantly makes us know and realise who the main characters are in the film. The sound then moves over to a diegetic sound which is designed to make the audience laugh at the inappropriate joke that was made. The sound was then moved to a non diegetic sound which then changed to a voice over letting the audience know the joke that was made "of course I will have another one". As the noise of the train fades out the sound slowly goes into non diegetic as music starts to play. Classical musical is used to create contrast between our minds and what's actually happening in the film. The sound then moves to a voice over while listening to the character talk about the materials he needs for the drugs which is used to disguise the heroin. There is then some more non diegetic sound placed over the music as another voice which is played and the voice then suggest that the character has grew up around drugs and thinks it's ok. The scene then ends with a digetic sound as the character meets up with a drug dealer which the drug dealer then causes humour to the scene as to what he says.
