Trainspotting
The first scene starts off with a non diegetic sound which is a voice over which instantly makes us know and realise who the main characters are in the film. The sound then moves over to a diegetic sound which is designed to make the audience laugh at the inappropriate joke that was made. The sound was then moved to a non diegetic sound which then changed to a voice over letting the audience know the joke that was made "of course I will have another one". As the noise of the train fades out the sound slowly goes into non diegetic as music starts to play. Classical musical is used to create contrast between our minds and what's actually happening in the film. The sound then moves to a voice over while listening to the character talk about the materials he needs for the drugs which is used to disguise the heroin. There is then some more non diegetic sound placed over the music as another voice which is played and the voice then suggest that the character has grew up around drugs and thinks it's ok. The scene then ends with a digetic sound as the character meets up with a drug dealer which the drug dealer then causes humour to the scene as to what he says.
